Tokyo Kitty - Cincinnati, OH

Tokyo Kitty is a downtown karaoke bar and club with a Neo-Tokyo inspiration. Planted on Race Street right in the heart of downtown Cincinnati, this bar grabs all your senses with flamboyant lighting, good tunes, craft cocktails, and an environment creating a futuristic, Japanese pop culture feel. Marque Engineering worked with Gorilla Cinema Presents on this MEP tenant fit out of the 4,070 square foot club.

The electrical engineering solution included vibrant neon lighting and colors that change with the timing of the day, from bright white light earlier in the day as the bar is opening to a dimmer hue as the evening progresses. Zoned HVAC was also provided to accommodate the heavy foot traffic and differing environments within the space, including the private karaoke rooms inspired by the Bill Murray film “Lost in Translation” (2003).
