This “hills alure prototype” is comprised of 5 buildings with 276 apartments. These individual units of 18 different apartment types ranged from 830-2,200 square feet. Also included was an amenity building with a pool, community area, and workout space. Marque Engineering provided full-scale MEP engineering for the apartment complex. The mechanical engineering included adding a gas fired furnace in the commons and adding heat pumps throughout the other areas of the building. Condense units were also placed throughout all 5 floors for refrigeration. Electrical engineering utilized a 2200-amp service to power the building in support of our complex lighting solution. The plumbing was unique as it required adding an oil interceptor in the garage and strict coordination with civil engineers due to the penetration of plumbing through the facility flooring.
