Hogwood BBQ is a 2,400 square foot ground-up restaurant prototype. This Franklin, Tennessee location is unique as it is the only location of its kind. Marque Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering for the restaurant. For the mechanical engineering of the facility, we utilized rooftop units for air distribution. We were also responsible for the development of a prototypical lighting plan, which required a 400-amp electrical service. This entire process required strict consulting with kitchen consultants and hood manufacturers. Coordination with existing utilities was also crucial and a unique challenge while designing the plumbing.
