Marque Engineering is thrilled to be engineering and designing the MEP for the new Dayton-area headquarters for Life Connection of Ohio. Life Connection is a nonprofit organization that has facilitated organ donation in Ohio for over 30 years.
The project will move Life Connection’s headquarters to a new 9-acre plot at the Miami Valley Research Park. The new building will have two stories, totaling about 30,000 square feet, and will include various spaces such as locker rooms, workout rooms, a lab area, IT rooms, and a call center.
Marque Engineering began engineering and design in November of 2020, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection services. This project utilized a VRF HVAC system, one of the best HVAC systems in the industry and extremely energy efficient.
Construction will begin by the end of 2021 and be finished by the spring of 2022. The expansion will add more than 100 additional jobs, boosting economic growth in the Kettering area. When it is complete, the new headquarters will also allow Life Connection to increase annual payroll by $4 million.
